Terms of Service

Last updated: November 7, 2026

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AnswerRoster website at answerroster.com and the AnswerRoster service (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Cloudsource BV, trading as AnswerRoster, a company registered in Belgium with its registered office at Robert Schumanplein 2-4, 1040 Brussels, Belgium, VAT BE0661.832.285 ("AnswerRoster", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@answerroster.com.

2. Acceptance

By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or agency, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" refers to that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for businesses (such as marketing and SEO agencies), not for consumers.

3. The Service

AnswerRoster produces AI visibility reports. For each brand you add (a business with a category and location), we send a set of buyer-intent questions to third-party AI assistants — currently ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google) and Perplexity — through their official APIs, analyse the answers, and generate a report (PDF and HTML) that can carry your agency's name, logo and color. Reports include how often the business is named, its position, which competitors are named, which sources are cited, and rule-based recommendations.

The Service is currently in early access. Features, limits and availability may change, and some features described on the website may not yet be available.

Reports contain AI-generated content; please read section 7 on accuracy and its limits.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@answerroster.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to, and not to allow anyone else to:

6. Your inputs and how you use outputs

Inputs. You are solely responsible for the information you submit to the Service, including brand names, domains, categories, cities, your logo and agency details ("Inputs"). You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit your Inputs and to have us process them to provide the Service (including sending them to AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy), and that your Inputs do not infringe anyone's rights or break any law. Do not enter sensitive personal data or confidential information you are not allowed to share.

Outputs. You are solely responsible for how you use reports and other outputs of the Service ("Outputs"), including any statements, advice or decisions you make for yourself, your clients or prospects based on them, and for using third-party names, logos and marks in reports you distribute in a lawful, non-misleading way. You should review Outputs before relying on or sharing them.

7. AI-generated content and accuracy

Reports contain answers generated by third-party AI systems and analysis derived from those answers. You understand and agree that:

8. Intellectual property

Our Service. We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, including software, design, report templates, text and our trademarks. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription in accordance with these Terms. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

Your content. You keep ownership of your Inputs. You grant us a licence to use them solely to provide and secure the Service.

White-label licence for reports. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you may use, copy and distribute the reports generated for you — including under your own brand and for your clients — for your business purposes. This licence continues for reports generated while your account was active.

AI-generated text. AI-generated answer text quoted in reports is produced by the third-party AI providers. Any rights in that text belong to whoever holds them under the relevant provider's terms; we do not claim ownership of it.

9. Complaints and takedown requests

If you believe that a report generated with the Service, or content within it, infringes your intellectual property or other rights, is unlawful, or misrepresents your business, email us at hello@answerroster.com with: your name and contact details; a description of the content and, if possible, where you saw it; the rights you believe are affected and why; and a statement that the information in your complaint is accurate. Anyone can use this pathway — you do not need to be a customer. We will review each complaint promptly, may contact the customer concerned, and may remove or disable access to content, or take other action under section 10, where appropriate.

10. Content moderation

We may review use of the Service for compliance with these Terms. We may refuse to generate, withhold, remove or disable any report, brand or Input, and may suspend or terminate the accounts involved, if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms (including the acceptable use rules), the AI providers' policies or applicable law, or infringes the rights of others. Where reasonably possible, we will tell you what action we took and why, and you can contact us at hello@answerroster.com if you believe we made a mistake.

11. No guarantees

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that third-party AI providers will be available or will respond consistently.

We do not guarantee any AI visibility outcome. We do not control what AI assistants say, and we make no promise that any business will be named, ranked, recommended or will appear in any position in AI answers, whether or not recommendations in a report are followed. Recommendations are general, rule-based suggestions and not professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

12. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

Paid plans are not yet available. When they are, the following applies:

13. Billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. This applies to paid plans once they are available. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase in addition to these Terms. Prices are shown in USD and exclude applicable sales tax or VAT, which is calculated at checkout.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you materially breach these Terms (including the acceptable use rules or after a moderation decision under section 10), if your use creates a security or legal risk, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your subscription. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including inputs and outputs, intellectual property, no guarantees, limitation of liability and governing law) survive.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. The courts of Brussels, Belgium have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. The Service is intended for businesses; if you are nevertheless a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country of residence.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
